Jul. 19th, 2007 04:46 pmUS drug laws are stupid. I would like to take this opportunity to call for the legalization (and consumption) of marijuana and ecstasy (MDMA). While I personally do not endorse the consumption of heroin, cocaine, or LSD, I see no reason not to legalize these substances as well.
One problem with these LJ-baiting entries is that it's extremely easy to think of dozens of them, but if I include more than one statement in a given post, it throws off the "experiment." I can't resist one more, though.
When I was a teenager, teenagers liked to get high and have sex. I assume they still do. If real teenagers want to do it, but fictional teenagers don't, it makes the fictional teenagers seem a lot less real than they otherwise would. Depiction of an illegal act is not tantamount to an endorsement of that act.

From time to time, you will see in this journal an entry tagged "LJ-baiting." I don't necessarily believe any statements made in entries with this tag. I just want to see which of them is deleted under LJ's newly-promulgated (and fucking stupid) obscenity standard.
