Everyone Is Crazy Except Me

My mother called the cops, and ultimately the state Fish & Game enforcement, on a man who was catching pigeons in order to feed them to his falcon, because apparently pigeons rule and falcons suck, or something.

According to Mom, the falcon was right there, so it wasn't just made up to justify mistreating the pigeons. Although, even if it was, who cares? They're pigeons. (OK, it's not cool to torture pidgies. But the falcon wasn't being force-fed them, if you see what I mean.)

Mom is very tender-hearted, so her reaction doesn't surprise me. But the cops actually came for this.

( Considerably less funny animal-rights terrorism in my town. )

Sheesh.

I'm bemused by my mom, and enraged by the other... I suppose they're still technically people.

(PS. I am also crazy, just not in this way.)
